What did I think of the film? I loved the film. It caught my attention with in the first few minutes. Yeah at some parts it almost made me become teary eyed but it is only because i felt what the people in that time period felt. That would have to be one of my favorite movies of all time. I loved this movie and i would buy this movie just to watch when i need a good film to watch.

The Movie does relate to what we learned about the ghettos, in my opinion at least. The ghettos were rough and it showed that during the film. It showed how we learned or read about the punishments they would do throughout the ghettos and what would happen if you tried to leave the ghetto. This movie showed everything we have learned through out the course so far.

If a building in Fleetwood was burning down or up in flames and i was standing there watching, what would be going through my mind? If i was standing watching a fire, I would be thinking who started it and why. My mind would also wonder why we are just standing here and not doing anything about it.

Blog 3:

Would I put up a Menorah in my house hold? Yes, I would because in my eyes It does not matter what religion you are we are equal. But to Hitler's eyes any one who was not equal to him was killed. If i lived back than I would put up a menorah like people did back then.

Why did i take this class? I took this class because the Holocaust has interested me ever since we learned about it in i believe 8th grade. I want to learn more and more about the events that went on during the Holocaust as the years go.  It tears me apart to know that this all happened but at the same time I am interested in learning more.

I hope this class can teach me more and more. I have read books and some videos about people who are still alive from this time period. They inspire me.

Post 1 : Discrimination

Have I ever saw someone be made fun of because of their color or background? The answer to that question is yes. My uncle is racist as can be. All he ever does is make fun of people who are not from the same ethnic group as him. It honestly pisses me off more and more each time. What I don't understand is why people do this? Does it bring joy to their life or something?

    Anyway, my whole family except my mom and me are racist. If someone on the Television is from a different race  they start cracking racist jokes or call them bad words. They even have a black Santa Claus just to laugh and make jokes near Christmas time. Too bad they are not that funny in my eyes. Why judge people on where they are from? we are equal no matter what.
